Elephant Skin is a skilled and nimble creative agency that focuses exclusively on real estate development, architecture, and landscape projects.

 

We specialize in crafting sophisticated and uniquely creative storytelling, 3D renderings, animations, and films specially tailored to a property’s life cycle.

 

Our team comprises 90 talented people, among architects, 3D artists, designers, landscape architects, client managers, graphic designers, and real estate professionals, located in more than 20 different locations worldwide.

 

We have helped organizations meet their project marketing goals and currently have operations in Miami, Los Angeles, Vancouver, New York, São Paulo, Curitiba, and Shanghai.

At Elephant Skin, we craft creative and immersive marketing experiences for real estate around the world. With a fully remote team spanning the US, Canada, Brazil, Dubai and beyond, we bring together strategists, 3D artists, filmmakers, designers, project managers, creatives, and business minds — all working in sync across time zones and cultures.

We’re now looking for an experienced HR Manager to help structure and support our growing team. This is a strategic and hands-on role — built for someone who understands how to combine empathy, clarity, and process in a creative, remote-first environment.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll act as a strategic partner to leadership and a point of trust for our team — building and sustaining an environment where people feel seen, supported, and set up to thrive.

/Your focus will include:

Culture & Belonging

  • Foster our remote culture through rituals, check-ins, and day-to-day care.

  • Ensure our values are actively lived, not just documented.

  • Design inclusive, engaging experiences for a team spread across time zones and creative disciplines.

 

People Operations & Structure

  • Lead HR processes (onboarding, contracts, reviews, exits, etc) with clarity and consistency.

  • Maintain documentation and internal systems using tools like Google Sheets, Asana and Slack.

  • Balance structure with flexibility — we’re not corporate, but we value process.

Growth & Development

  • Help define growth paths and performance frameworks in partnership with leadership.

  • Support leads and managers with honest feedback cycles and development tools.

  • Actively listen to team needs and turn them into actionable plans.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work alongside Finance, IT, Communication, and Creative/Operations leads to align HR with business needs.

  • Advise leadership on people-related matters — from team health to long-term planning.

What We’re Looking For:

/Strong background in HR, People Ops, or related areas, ideally in fast-moving or remote environments.;

/Excellent empathy and communication skills — you create trust across disciplines and levels.;

/Experience supporting creative or international teams is a strong plus;

/Comfortable with remote tools and systems (like Asana, Slack, async tools);

/Fluent in Portuguese. Intermediate level in English. Spanish is a plus;
