We specialize in crafting sophisticated and uniquely creative storytelling, 3D renderings, animations, and films specially tailored to a property’s life cycle.

 

Our team comprises 90 talented people, among architects, 3D artists, designers, landscape architects, client managers, graphic designers, and real estate professionals, located in more than 20 different locations worldwide.

 

We have helped organizations meet their project marketing goals and currently have operations in Miami, Los Angeles, Vancouver, New York, São Paulo, Curitiba, and Shanghai.

Elephant Skin is looking for an experienced managing director to oversee business operations and provide strategic leadership. The managing director's responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic plans and company policies, maintaining an open dialogue with stakeholders, and driving organizational success.

To be successful as a managing director you should be able to manage and advance a business's strategic objectives. Ultimately, an outstanding Managing Director is an exceptional leader, drives a company's strategic visions, and is adept at crisis management.

What we're looking for:

 

/Fluency in English (written and spoken)

/Demonstrated competence in creating and executing strategic plans.

/Proven track record of leading large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and driving organizational change

/Demonstrated success with meeting the needs of a wide range of employees while driving team performance, monitoring results and appropriate resources

/Progressive experience in leading employees in multiple locations, and significant experience developing and implementing solutions;

/Possess strong problem-solving, collaboration, critical thinking, team-building skills

/Results-oriented with strong time management and project management skills and must be highly organized and driven to succeed

/Strong leadership skills, leading by example, driving employees’ commitment through actions.

/Ability to multi-task, think critically and creatively, excellent time-management skills, ability to assess client needs and deliver high-quality effective communications

/Proficient at handling difficult situations with professionalism and respect

/Effective and persuasive communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

/Assess the demand of projects within the office;

/Communicate HR department about future needs for professionals and create a weekly report;

/Support communication with external teams and freelancers;

/Define teams to work on the projects balancing the load of work;

/Ensure accounts and job orders are prioritized accordingly;

/Lead meetings with the teams to check the progress of the projects;

/Help to identify and solve any obstruction to the correct flow of the work;

/Ensure correct project documentation;

/Create the project Canvas where the planning and concept of each project is clear and organized;

/Lead Kick-off meetings with internal and external stakeholders;

/Ensure the correct project closure with lessons learned meetings;

/Integrate the different teams inside the office, making sure the communication between different teams is effective.

/Foster team culture and practice of mentorship and collaboration, engage in development conversations, provide regular feedback on team members strengths and areas for development;
