Elephant Skin is a skilled and nimble creative agency that focuses exclusively on real estate development, architecture, and landscape projects.

 

We specialize in crafting sophisticated and uniquely creative storytelling, 3D renderings, animations, and films specially tailored to a property’s life cycle.

 

Our team comprises 90 talented people, among architects, 3D artists, designers, landscape architects, client managers, graphic designers, and real estate professionals, located in more than 20 different locations worldwide.

 

We have helped organizations meet their project marketing goals and currently have operations in Miami, Los Angeles, Vancouver, New York, São Paulo, Curitiba, and Shanghai.

Elephant Skin IS looking to add an editor to our team with some profound knowledge in Adobe Premiere and After Effects. A strong understanding of color grading theory, the ability to take direction, quickly respond to feedback, and think on your feet is essential. The ideal candidate can balance many projects and shifting priorities while communicating clearly and delivering on time.

People who excel on this team are positive, kind, self-motivated, flexible of thought, and juggle multiple responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and a drive to problem solve.

What we're looking for:

 

/Edit raw footage content for producing film and video.
/Perform video and audio editing based on story sequence and continuity.
/Work closely with producers and directors during production.
/Cut video sequences effectively to ensure seamless scenes flow logically.
/Review the script to better understand the video production requirements.
/Perform all editing work, including inserting music, sound effects, storyboarding, etc.
/Prepare a logical storyboard with a combination of the most compelling scenes.
/Collaborate closely with others in audio and visual teams to create continuous and complete stories.
/Organize and assemble video segments to deliver continuous and sequential stories of a specified length.
/Color correction of elements of the video.
/ Perform technical checks to ensure all work complies with specifications.
/Final conform of video assets, assuring quality and consistency of all graphic elements and framing, and modifications based on deliverable specs.
/Identify and share opportunities for improvement in our processes.
/Troubleshoot technical issues arising during the finishing process.

Qualifications:

/Coloring grading expertise in color correction software, i.e., DaVinci Resolve.
/ Experience with Mac and Windows-based computers, file servers, networking, file management of media assets, and content management.
/Advanced Adobe Premiere skillset, general experience with Adobe Creative Suite tools.
/Strong understanding of various deliverable specifications, including file types, frame rates, aspect ratios, and ability to troubleshoot and communicate concerns or inconsistencies in specs.
/Demonstrate excellent creative instincts and judgment.
/Extremely organized and meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
/ Experience working remotely.
/Knowledge and interest in current trends in video and post-production technology.
/Ability to adapt to ongoing processes, priorities, tasks, and workload changes.
/Articulate, thoughtful written and verbal communication.
/Able to work independently or with a team.
/A quick, willing, and curious learner.
