A New Golden Era in Hospitality

The Boca Raton entered a new era through a comprehensive, multi-million-dollar renovation that redefined its guest rooms, restaurants, and public spaces. The transformation balanced heritage and modernity—introducing lighter interiors, refined materials, and contemporary hospitality standards while preserving the resort’s iconic character and relationship with its waterfront setting.

Visualizing The Boca Raton

Elephant Skin approached the remodeling of this classic property as an exercise in continuity rather than reinvention. The goal was not to overwrite the existing identity, but to translate its architectural essence into a contemporary visual language—one that respects memory while projecting a clear future.

Through a disciplined visual system, the renderings explored proportion, light, materiality, and rhythm to reveal how the transformation enhances what was already there. Every image was designed to clarify intent, helping audiences understand the evolution of the architecture without losing its original character.

By treating visualization as a strategic tool, Elephant Skin enabled the project to be seen not just as a renovation, but as a careful repositioning—where heritage and modernity coexist, and the value of the transformation becomes immediately legible.

Reimagining a Landmark.

An iconic destination reimagined. This project represents the visual and cinematic development of a landmark renovation—where architecture, interiors, and hospitality experiences were translated into a cohesive visual narrative.

Since its origins in the 1920s, The Boca Raton has stood as one of Florida’s enduring hospitality landmarks. Shaped by proportion, climate, and its relationship with water, the resort was conceived as a place of permanence rather than spectacle.

The recent renovation builds on this legacy—refining spaces and experiences while respecting the historical character that has defined The Boca Raton for generations.

A Rockwell Group Perspective

Rockwell Group approached The Boca Raton through continuity and restraint, focusing on light, flow, and connection to the waterfront. Public spaces were reimagined to balance scale and intimacy, using refined materials and layered spatial planning to support social life and movement. At Elephant Skin, The Boca Raton renovation was approached as a large-scale communication system rather than a collection of isolated assets. Our work focused on translating architecture, interiors, and hospitality experience into clear visual structures that could support alignment, positioning, and long-term clarity throughout the renovation process. By coordinating imagery, motion, and narrative with the project’s evolution, Elephant Skin helped ensure the transformation was communicated with precision—supporting understanding, consistency, and coherence across every phase of the resort’s repositioning.

The Boca Raton

The Boca Raton is one of Florida’s most iconic hospitality destinations, entering a new chapter through a comprehensive $200M renovation. The transformation redefined hotel rooms, restaurants, and shared spaces while preserving the resort’s legacy, scale, and relationship with its waterfront setting.

Elephant Skin was engaged to support this moment of reinvention through the development of a complete visual and cinematic language. Our role was to translate architectural intent, interior design, and hospitality experience into precise, high-end visual assets capable of communicating ambition, atmosphere, and coherence at every stage of the project.

The scope included the creation of high-fidelity 3D renderings, animations, and cinematic films covering hotel rooms, dining venues, and key experiential spaces. These assets were developed to support design alignment, stakeholder communication, marketing initiatives, and the broader narrative of the resort’s repositioning.

Through still imagery, motion, and film, Elephant Skin crafted a visual system that expressed scale, elegance, and continuity—ensuring the renovation was understood not only as an upgrade, but as a carefully articulated evolution of an iconic destination.
